Thank God for laundry rooms! Where else would we stash all the stuff that accumulated on the kitchen table when we weren't looking?

When it's 10 minutes until party guests arrive and you're nowhere near where you wanted to be on housekeeping detail, there's nothing handier than the top of the washer and dryer to hold the overflow.

And, did you know you if you artfully arrange a tablecloth over the trusty printer you really don't want to move to the laundry room (after you've covered it with an inverted tray) you can use it to add visual interest to food displays on your buffet line? Makes the food taste better too.
